Josh Devlin

Born and raised in New Zealand, Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington and began his career in business development. His passion for sales and building relationships then naturally led him to recruitment, where he spent two years working across the Sales and Marketing industry before relocating to Melbourne. Having quickly fallen in love with everything the city has to offer,  It didn’t take long for Josh to plant his roots and call it home.

Since joining Miller Leith in 2024, Josh has established himself in the Australian Sales, Marketing and Digital market, partnering with some of Australia’s most recognised brands. He works across a broad range of roles – from specialist level all the way through to senior commercial leadership positions – bringing a genuine understanding of what great talent looks like at every level.

His human-first, relationship-driven approach paired with a commitment to delivery has seen him quickly become a trusted partner to both clients and candidates alike

What’s really important to you?

Loving what you do makes all the difference. When you genuinely enjoy your work, it shows in everything you do – the energy you bring, the effort you put in, and the impact you have on the people around you.

What is something quirky about you?

I have a collection of 150+ bottle openers from every place I’ve visited around the world. The collection is impressive, but there is still plenty of territory to cover.

What motivates you about the recruitment industry?

No two days are the same and I love that. You’re constantly meeting new people, learning about different businesses, and solving problems that actually matter to someone’s career or a company’s future.
