Originally from Scotland, Connor relocated to Sydney after growing up surrounded by the energy and craftsmanship of the UK’s luxury retail scene. What began as a new chapter abroad soon became home, with Australia offering the perfect blend of opportunity, lifestyle and space to explore what’s possible.
Connor’s career began in high-end luxury retail, working with globally recognised watch and jewellery brands across sales and management roles. These years on the shop floor shaped his understanding of premium customer experience, brand identity and what truly defines excellence in luxury environments.
After moving to Australia, he transitioned into recruitment with a mission to bring a more insights-driven, relationship-first approach to the luxury talent market. Today at Miller Leith, he specialises in connecting leading fashion, jewellery, watch and premium retail brands with high-performing candidates who elevate both culture and commercial performance. He’s energised by the mix of people, storytelling and strategic alignment that great recruitment demands and by the impact a single exceptional hire can make.
Connor is passionate about understanding what drives people, uncovering potential and helping individuals shift the trajectory of their careers. His background in luxury retail gives him a practical understanding of what “great” truly looks like across sales, management and brand-ambassador roles.

What is something quirky about you?
I’m fascinated by anything to do with space and aviation – I once had flying lessons back in my home country, Scotland.

I love the human side of recruitment, being able to really understand what drives a person and the reward that comes from helping them change the trajectory of their careers
