With more than a decade of recruitment experience across the Retail, FMCG, Finance and Payroll sectors, Annabel has built a strong specialisation and a highly engaged network across the payroll and finance landscape.

Beginning her career internally within HR before transitioning into agency recruitment, Annabel brings a well-rounded understanding of both the people and operational sides of hiring. Today, she specialises in temporary, contract and permanent recruitment across payroll and finance, partnering with businesses and professionals to deliver thoughtful, long-term recruitment outcomes.

Known for her relationship-led approach, Annabel combines deep market knowledge with a practical understanding of the evolving payroll landscape, including compliance, governance and operational complexities impacting organisations today.

Originally spending much of her childhood in the Middle East before moving back to the UK at 12, Annabel later relocated to Australia with her family and now proudly calls the Gold Coast home.

Outside of work, Annabel enjoys spending time with family and friends, beach weekends, camping trips, Pilates and F45.

What’s important to you?
My family are the most important. I am also a big advocate for balance in life so that you are making the most of each aspect, including family, friends, career and you time.

What is something quirky about you?
I’m a very active person and find it hard to slow down! I can’t miss an F45/Pilates sesh. I also have a little (ok quite big) shopping addiction!

What motivates you about the recruitment industry?
What motivates me most about recruitment is the people and the impact you can have in such a short space of time. I love that recruitment is never just about ‘filling a role’ it’s careers, businesses, timing and trust all coming together. I really thrive in the pace of the industry too, balancing relationships, problem-solving and strategy while helping both clients and candidates navigate meaningful long-term outcomes.

My teammates would describe me as driven, approachable, empathetic, collaborative, a big hugger, supportive, and bubbly and a food lover – nickname being “the bin” for most of my time in the office as I’ll eat left overs – nothing goes to waste on my watch!
