Talented at maths and science, with a family of Engineers and Salespeople, Patrick opted to take the path towards becoming an Engineer early on. That was until an opportunity to work alongside a start-up roastery arose, and Patrick soon became the right-hand man, growing a wholesale business from scratch with a focus on everything from sales, supply chain, to customer service and logistics.

Having gained such exposure to the coffee industry over 6 years, Patrick later threw himself into the deep end working in a New Business Development role for a tier one FMCG company and therefore has an extensive network and experience in all aspects of Sales and Operations.

With such hands on industry experience in both start up and large organisations, Patrick understands exactly what it takes to drive a business forward and provides short term and long term solutions for Sales professionals looking for their next opportunity.

He refers to himself as the ‘jack of all trades, but master of none’ and is a well rounded person who enjoys meeting people along the way. Outside of work, Patrick tries to find the time to attend to his hobbies; snowboarding, golf and cooking for his friends and family.

What is important to you?
Being happy. Always taking the time to stop and take positives out of everything.  To always try to find a solution to things, I’m a natural problem solver. Time with my kids, I love dancing around the room with them, that’s my happy moment.

What is something quirky about you?
I’m really bad at puns, although I’ve somewhat grown out of it. I can touch my nose with my tongue. I’m known as the tornado at home as I always leave a trail of mess behind.

What is it about the recruitment industry that motivates you?
I know it sounds a bit cliché, but I felt it was something I was naturally doing with friends and contacts before I even thought about recruitment. I’ve probably connected a number of people to jobs over the span of my career. I like to think I’m good at selling something when I truly believe in it, and I am genuine, and passionate about what I do.

Confident in a humourous way. I’m all for chiming into the girly conversations as I love a bit of banter. I’m always one to diffuse situations with humour.
