Senior Principal Consultant - Contracting
Whether teaching Street Dance in her studio or working as a recruiter, Laura’s career has always involved interacting with people.
Laura’s recruitment experience encompasses both boutique search firms and global companies within the UK and Australia. Laura’s speciality is in recruiting contract and temporary roles within Supply Chain & Procurement.
As a Supply Chain recruiter, Laura enjoys the down to earth people she meets, and the honest, engaging conversations around personal and business goals, that allow her to gain an insight into the culture of a place and such an evolving industry. Laura offers a high-quality experience and prides herself on ensuring everyone gets value out of their interaction with her.
Laura has a creative flair, and outside of Miller Leith, you’ll find Laura choreographing street dance, drawing, or at the gym most nights when she isn’t out exploring new places.
What’s really important to you?
My family, friends and being around people that share the same values and bring positive energy.
What is something quirky about you?
I am obsessed with sausage dogs and follow over 100 different sausage dog pages on Instagram.
What motivates you about the recruitment industry?
The ability to be able to build relationships with candidates and clients, and making their transition as smooth as possible to minimise stress for others.
From a temporary recruitment perspective, helping people transitioning from overseas obtain their first job in Australia and open that door for people to get some local experience is really rewarding.
Your teammates would describe you as…
Quick-witted, quite a joker, I’m not serious all the time, in fact, I’m someone who is generally happy.
