As a key member of the marketing communications team, you will have the opportunity to be immersed in modern marketing practices, up to date technologies, consumer behaviours and the changing face of retail, with campaign development at the forefront.

The Role

The Marketing Campaign Manager will report into the Marketing Manager and take the lead on  major campaigns, ensuring business objectives and optimisation goals are hit. On a day to day you will: 
  • Manage stakeholders at varying levels; influencing, presenting and advocating across a number of campaign channel
  • Run end to end a number of targeted and customer focused marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, POS, print, gamification, personalisation and online
  • Manage campaign budgets and timescales
  • In-directly manage the Marketing Communications Specialist, delegating some elements of major campaigns and checking and approving their work
  • Work closely with the insights team, to optimise campaign ROI and to inform campaign decision making
Skills & Experience

Whilst specific job title isn't important, a tertiary background in marketing is essential and you will have solid experience working in a similar national marketing role with a broad understanding of the marketing mix, ideally with experience in the retail industry, or similar. 

The Marketing Campaign Manager will be comfortable navigating a large complex and geographically diverse organisation. You will have proven success managing campaigns from end to end, and will have the ability to design campaigns to deliver across multiple objectives, leverage insights and drive customer or consumer engagement. 

You will be competent in briefing third parties and working with internal teams such as design, IT, digital and communications. A self-driven, motivated and self-structured person, the Marketing Campaign Manager will be a clear communicator and a real problem solver; proactively looking for improvement and positive change with a “can do” mentality and ‘out of the box’ thinking. They'll be comfortable simplifying complex information and proactively presenting new opportunities and strategies in a clear manner to various stakeholders.
