HR Officer - Operational role with growth

You'll be working in Melbourne's inner suburbs with a reputable, established brand that is currently experiencing strong growth both in Melbourne and regional Vic.  Due to business growth and the need for the HR team to support across 3 key sites, there is a brilliant opportunity for a HR Graduate with 2-3 years of experience to join and continue to a broad range of duties.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Support Managers with HR advice and assistance for their teams in areas such as Award/EBA and Policy interpretation.
  • Work closely with Managers for recruitment needs, assisting with all facets of the process as needed.
  • Take some ownership of weekly and monthly payroll with support from the HR Manager, ensuring strong attention to detail with numerics and some management reporting on key metrics
  • Be the first point of contact for staff with HR matters and provide solutions where possible.
  • Work with the HR Manager around OD projects including well-being and staff engagement.
Your success in this role will be measured by your can-do approach, your ability to use initiative, build strong relationships, and demonstrate the ability to pick up new skills quickly and with a focus on quality.  Your experience to date could be in any sector but you are now looking to join a values-based family organisation that genuinely are and support their valued employees and they know how to celebrate the key milestones throughout the year.  Salary circa $85k plus.
