Exec Assistant, Governance Housing


Outstanding newly created role working with a varied remit which includes Board, Governance and Compliance for Housing and Property in Community.

This is a newly created role that requires key skills and experience that will ensure success.  You have a business mind and enjoy working with complexity and structured process, reporting and data.  You are also a natural communicator with the confidence to liaise at the Board level to all levels of the organisation in a way that is approachable and authentic.


  • Provide full support to Board including calendar management, travel and all logistics for Board members, collecting and distributing papers, minute taking for both Board and Committee meetings.
  • Ensure templates are current and accurately reflect the needs of Board documentation.
  • Confirming all governance processes align with all entities with the support of the Company Secretary.
  • Working with the Finance and Compliance Manager to ensure all entities meet their regulatory and legal obligations.
  • Producing key annual reports and data, ensuring key compliance documents are in order.  Assist in the preparation of compliance and accreditation evidence and in the production of annual statements.
With Business Studies and experience assisting at SLT level, you are familiar with the pace and the needs of the Exec and will find this role both varied and challenging.  Salary includes salary packaging, RDO's, leave loading and a team who live the values of their organisation.  Salary package circa $90 -$95k  Don't delay your response, forward your interest to Karen O'Brien, Director at Miller Leith.
