We have a brilliant opportunity within community services.  This is an organisation who are known for their on-going support for people and families.  They support with a broad range of programs and have reach to many smaller communities in regional areas as well as Melbourne metro.  They are a values-based organisation so when a key position becomes available, their first thoughts are to values alignment.

About the role:

Your remit is to support key operational divisions and managers as a specialist in your field.  Actively assisting them to manage risk and quality management issues which includes assisting with the implementation of QMS.  Your purpose is to ensure they work with continuous quality improvement which translates to good governance and operating efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities include:
  •  Work with key operational divisions and the leaders to support them through the implementation of an organisational-wide Quality Governance Framework and Quality Management System.
  • Coach and support operational managers to ensure their focus on continuous improvement and risk management into core everyday business activity.
  • Analyse performance data which includes incidents, investigations, complaints, and general findings in audits to create key improvement plans and then recommendations.
  • Deploy with operational managers the organisational and risk management system.
  • Provide key reporting data on quality outcomes and improvements identified for services.
  • Ensure all legal and statutory requirements are met including serious incidents, reportable conduct, and mandatory reporting.
About You:

To be considered for this interesting and varied role that will see you work both as part of a dynamic team and also independently as required with Divisional Leads.  You are Degree qualified within a recognised human services or health discipline and bring demonstrated experience working with quality management and compliance.

You are commercial and curious and have the ability to develop strategies and business plans and have done so within larger, complex organisations that have many stakeholders and considerations.  With at least five years within health or community, you are ready for the next step in your career.
