Customer Support (Technical) - Contact Centre


Bring your strong customer service experience & basic IT troubleshooting knowledge to excel in this inbound call centre role.

Work for one of the leading global telco companies in a fun, customer service based environment. You will work with an engaging team and be responsible for managing inbound calls from exisiting customers to support with basic IT troubleshooting.

You will receive extensive on the job, paid training coupled with ongoing training throughout your time with the organisation to ensure you are best prepared to provide A+ support. 

Salary is circa $44,000 per year with offices are centrally located in Christchurch. 

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound calls from customers and support with IT troubleshooting issues 
  • Build rapport with customers and make a positive first impression
  • Take ownership and follow up on issues to achieve a first call resolution (where possible) 
  • Identify and communicate areas for improved customer service 
  • Work as part of a team providing support as required
Key skills required:
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Basic IT troubleshooting skills and understanding of Telcom products such as routers, switches, modems etc. 
  • Previous customer service experience in either in a call centre (ideal) or a field-based environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your own time
  • Team player with an enthusiastic attitude
