Reporting to the Head of Category, the Category Manager’s primary responsibility will be to translate data and information into customer and consumer insights to ensure the long term vitality of the category and the Chobani business.
As the demands on Category constantly increase, the Category Manager will work to ensure that best practise category development principles with key retailers, partners and internal stakeholders are maintained. The Category Manager will be responsible in leading the range review process as part of their role. You will confidently interpret shopper, consumer and market data to monitor category performance and assist in guiding future category strategy. In addition, you will support ongoing portfolio management across all of the Chobani brands, including pricing and promotional evaluation for both Chobani and the total category.
Skills & Experience
The Category Manager will be seen as the expert both internally and externally with customers. The will have a deep understanding of the category function. They will need to be able to interpret and analyse data effectively but also be able to work internally to demonstrate how that data can be used to drive positive outcomes. They will understand what are the key drivers in the relevant categories and have a solid understanding of the competitor landscape.
To be considered for this role it is preferred you have experience in a similar role in FMCG. We encourage candidates from all categories with this experience to apply. Exposure working with major grocery retailers including leading category reviews is also preferred.
