Reporting to the recently established board, the Chief Executive Officer is accountable and responsible for providing effective operational, commercial and strategic leadership to drive all key business functions including Operations, OH&S, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Technical, R&D and Supply Chain. As the Chief Executive Officer, this leadership role is ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions as well as act as a direct liaison between the board and management of the company. The CEO will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth to becoming a leader in their category, playing a transformational role in driving a new brand and sales distribution throughout Australia.
Culturally, the successful CEO will drive and execute a shared-vision, strategy and goal which will include expansion or relocation of their current operations whilst maintaining a positive focus and progressive culture right across the business. This will play a key role in attracting talent going forward, particularly as the business drives towards brand creation. Ensuring the businesses values are upheld, you will provide the board with accurate and timely reporting, whilst coaching, leading and growing the entire organisation.
Skills & Experience
Identified as having significant leadership, strategic and commercial talent, you must have had a history and track record leading as a General Manager, CEO, MD, COO with full P&L responsibility and possess drive and determination to succeed in an ever-changing environment. You will demonstrate outstanding communication skills and have reported to a board and ideally worked in both a small-medium privately owned business, but also a larger organisation that has instilled discipline and process.
Your relevant Food Manufacturing industry background will include strong commercial acumen with a particular focus on opening up new opportunities and engaging with the market to stimulate participation and collaboration. Finally, it goes without saying that you will be skilled in inspiring individuals and teams in the pursuit of results.
