Christy Moses

Originally from Michigan, USA, Christy moved to Sydney after completing university, where what was intended to be a short stay quickly became a permanent move, with Australia becoming home. 

Since beginning her recruitment career in 2005, Christy has built more than 20 years of leadership experience across multinational, boutique and start-up recruitment environments. Her experience spans executive search, specialist recruitment, client partnership development, team leadership, program management and talent strategy, with a strong focus on EVP, DE&I, CSR and sustainability initiatives. 

Christy joined Miller Leith in 2025 as Director – NSW. In this role, she led the Sydney team, expanded Miller Leith’s presence in New South Wales and worked closely with the Executive Team to align structure, performance and long-term direction across the business.  

From 1 May 2026, Christy steps into the role of Chief Executive Officer, marking Miller Leith’s next chapter as the business evolves from founder-led to enterprise-led leadership. Her appointment reflects her deep credibility, whole-of-business perspective and proven ability to build commercially focused teams, identify growth opportunities and embed high-performance cultures through operational leadership.  

Known for her energy, integrity and ability to connect with people at every level, Christy brings a values-led leadership style grounded in partnership, performance and care. As CEO, her focus is on continuing to raise the bar across the entire career lifecycle for Miller Leith’s clients, candidates, consultants and the communities in which the business operates. 

What’s important to you?
My family. I’m a self-proclaimed “dance mum” and spend most weekends supporting my two daughters and their love of dance competitions.

What is something quirky about you?
I love long-distance running. Despite training consistently and participating in multiple events each year, I only seem to get slower, not faster!

What motivates you about the recruitment industry?
The people, 100%. Throughout my career I’ve worked with so many amazing individuals, and the long-term connections are really special. There’s nothing better than helping someone land their dream role or knowing that your advice has made a positive impact on someone’s career or business.
