An Industrial Chemist, Gerry has always been involved in Supply Chains and Manufacturing Operations.
A results-focused, Operations and Integrated Supply Chain executive, Gerry has worked in the FMCG and Automotive industry for over thirty years. He has managed his own consultancy firm, and for a long time oversaw supply chains in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and APAC. Gerry’s Supply Chain experiences have seen him lead major Regional Manufacturing & Distribution Network Optimizations, Regional FMCG Commercial Business Integrations, Plant and Distribution Centre Start-ups/Closures and Leading Operations and Industrial Relations across several countries in Tier 1 organisations.
Gerry’s formative years were spent in Australia, in a variety of Logistics and Manufacturing roles before overseas assignments in Hong Kong, Singapore, Europe and New Zealand. As a collaborative leader, Gerry has a long term record of success supporting staff development and individual career endeavours, which he believes to be a significant contributing factor to the success of Miller Leith at a time when personal care for both candidates and clients has never been higher.
Transitioning from a leading industry executive and industry mentor to Recruitment, Gerry has a variety of interests. What ties everything all together is Gerry’s hunger to learn, connect with people, continue to provide leadership and lead Miller Leith’s positive culture as a Managing Partner.
