As the leadership bench across Miller Leith has strengthened, I\u2019ve found myself spending more time back in the market again. That\u2019s the part of this work that has always energised me most.<\/p>\n

The coffee conversations with senior leaders when a company is about to scale. The calls when someone is weighing up the next step in their career. Sitting with boards as they think through succession decisions that will shape the direction of their organisation. Those moments matter, and they\u2019re why I got into this industry in the first place.<\/p>\n

Looking around Miller Leith today, that\u2019s what I\u2019m most proud of.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve grown across states, expanded into consulting and built an executive team with deep industry experience. Recognition like SEEK\u2019s Medium Recruitment Agency of the Year in 2024 has been a truly proud milestone, but what stands out most right now is the people: walking into the office and seeing consultants deep in conversation with clients, experienced recruiters sharing knowledge across desks, people who care about making a positive impact, and celebrating each other and our wins.<\/p>\n

That kind of environment doesn\u2019t happen by accident. As Miller Leith has grown, we\u2019ve had to think more deliberately about the foundations around the business, investing in the systems and support that make it easier for our team to do their best work while protecting the culture that made us special in the first place.<\/p>\n

Our 9-day fortnight, now into its third year, reflects that same thinking. People perform at their best when they have the space to live well outside of work too.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When Joe and I started Miller Leith, we hoped to build something meaningful. Thirteen years on, what I see is a team of talented people continuing to shape the business every day.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s what makes me most excited about the next chapter ahead, and the opportunity for me to spend more time back alongside clients, candidates and our consultants at the moments where our work makes the greatest impact.<\/p>\n
